Independent construction estimate review

Before you commit,
review the estimate.

A second review of quantities, scope boundaries and pricing assumptions helps your team identify questions before a bid, purchase or budget decision.

For contractors, trade partners, consultants and owners with an existing estimate. Trade coverage and review depth are confirmed before acceptance.

Request an Estimate Review

A defined review with referenced findings—not a promised saving or blanket certification.

Start with the decision in front of you

Choose the review your project needs.

Scope & coverage check

For a bid or estimate that needs a second look before submission. Review the agreed trade boundaries, exclusions, allowances and document basis.

Discuss scope coverage →

Quantity spot-check

For selected high-value or uncertain items. Check agreed quantities against drawing references and distinguish sampled checks from complete verification.

Discuss quantity checks →

Quote & buyout review

For comparing supplier or trade quotes before purchasing. Reconcile quantities, specifications, exclusions, freight and quote validity using supplied information.

Discuss quote comparison →

Each review returns a referenced findings register and a concise decision summary. We agree the items checked, review depth, fee and delivery date before starting.

What we examine

Make the estimate’s basis visible.

Quantities & coverage

Review quantity references, included and excluded scope, trade boundaries, duplicated items and missing coverage within the agreed review depth.

Pricing & allowances

Examine supplied unit rates, quote dates, allowances, procurement assumptions and additional costs. Unverified pricing stays identified as unverified.

Revisions & decisions

Check the estimate against the identified drawing, specification and addendum set. Separate confirmed discrepancies from questions requiring a response.

What your team receives.

A referenced findings register

Each finding identifies its source, observation, priority, potential impact and recommended next action. Pricing impacts are quantified only where supporting inputs allow it.

A clear review summary

See the documents reviewed, accepted scope, review method, open questions and limitations. Know what was checked and what remains for your team to resolve.

Start with the current estimate and documents.

Share the estimate or quantity workbook, current plans and specifications, addenda, supplied quotes, your decision deadline and the specific trades or concerns to review. Use view-only links and share only documents you are authorized to provide.

We confirm reviewer fit, available capacity, fee, delivery date and review depth before work starts. A full re-takeoff or redesign is a separate scope.

Questions before commissioning a review

Is this a full re-estimate?

Only if agreed. The review can target a trade, selected quantities, quote comparison or documented scope gaps. Sampling and full verification are distinguished in the accepted scope.

Can you review every trade?

Coverage depends on the documents, project type, qualified specialist availability and suitable review capacity. We confirm accepted trades before proposing the assignment.

Does a review guarantee the final construction cost?

No. Construction costs depend on scope, market pricing, procurement and project conditions. Findings support your decision; unresolved assumptions remain visible.
